As more and more insurance companies are insisting on the fitting of trackers and I understand all the UK tracker systems do not work on the continent. Does this mean your car will not be covered for theft or do you have to pay a premium while you are on the continent ?

Anybody out there got any first hand experience of this ?

I did ask Privilege about this and they said I would be covered for theft while abroad. Guess you will just have to ask your own insurer.

Do any of them work abroad?

Rang Trackstar today and told them of a trip to France.

They said it wouldn't work there yet, but should soon.

Trackstar approved by my Insurance co, so I presume they know how it works
