Default Hi guys, i'm new here and this is my ride :)

Hi Guys

My name's Tom, I'm 20 and i live in cambs.

Recently bought an Impreza Turbo 2000 to replace my 1.8 Vectra estate. Am looking for a new forum and this one looked a good bet . Here are a couple of snaps of me new beast. hope you enjoy.

I have a few mods planned in the pipeline, but nothing silly at this stage hehe! Its a vast upgrade on what I had before anyway.

Anyways, I look forward to receiving some good advice and sharing some experience along the way

Thanks Tom

Nice looking car - as it looks a lot like mine

Check out my Plus Profile and you'll see what I mean!

Mine's a W with Magnex backbox also.

Yours also has the crystal pack, and also colour coded sills which mine hasn't

I am biased, but some different alloys and STi rear lights would make it look better.....

Pretty car.

Mod the engine to your hearts content but leave the outside alone. IMO, clean looking UK turbos really are looking cooler every day

cheers guys

my planned mods were
so 18" multispoke gunmetal alloys
p1 front splitter
p1 rear spoiler

thats it for the exterior

and like you say it feels so quick compared to the vectra so ill leave the engine alone for the meantime.........lol

Nah - swap exhaust/filter and remap for about 60-70 more horses, makes for a much nicer driving experience

nah, to be honest it doesnt make much difference unless your driving on your or the cars limits all the time. handling can be sorted with gas shocks/springs, even a set of mild coilovers, or some whiteline goodies

had scoobs with 16", 17" and 18" wheels. considering upgrading to 18" on my scoob from 17" p1 alloys on there now.

Lovely looking car mate, pretty much the same as mine!

Your pics are very interesting cuz I've been thinking about colour coding my skirts etc lately, and now I've seen ur car I've got an idea of how it'd look on a pretty much standard scoob

By the way, people saying "let the modding begin" is sooooo true!! I had planned to leave mine standard, but.....modding is just addictive!! Mine is gonna stay LOOKING standard tho
