Default Hard to Explain ??

My drivers window stopped working properly, It went down ok , But only came up 10mil at a time , Then it stopped working completely (drivers window) The other 3 are ok. So today I drove 100miles round trip for another window control , Thats the same , This problem only started when I got total closure added to my clifford alarm ??? any ideas,

Your window motor is fubared. When total closure is in operation/and not it is always running the motor for the windows. So your window motors will be us in no time at all.

Going to be expensive in the long run.

Have you checked the window switch? I had a faulty switch on my newage, had the exact same symptoms and was about to change the motor but got told to try a new switch, worked fine after a replacement.

i know on mondeos, vectras etc they have a saftey device built in, try sending the window all the way down hold you finger on the button until you hear the relay click and the see if the window goes up freely if not disconnect the door loom from the a post for as long as possible to reset the memory and try again, as i said this is the case on lots of other cars and may just work for you.
