Default A Plan :-( ... TESCO :-)

Have been with A Plan for 2 years now always been unbeatable but this year they wanted approx £150 more than last year £600 all in for my MY07 STI. Went onto tesco online just for a look , £337 :-) .... seems very cheap but have checked it a couple of times and all ok .

I went with Tesco as they gave me a great quote, but i will never ever EEEEEVER go with them again, it may seem good now but just wait till you need their help, then you will see why they are so cheap, they are shocking.

One word sums it all up.....profesionalism............and tesco just aint got it!

In now with a-plan, they may not be the cheapest quote but they sure as hell are the best cover ive ever had and at the end of the day thats whats important.

not so good mate , i was with tesco 3 years ago and never had a problem at all ... but this does put me off a bit , if only A plan were cheaper £600 is too much i can search insurance supermarket etc and there are loads of companies under £500

but surely its the cover you should be looking at and the companies record of how they look after their client, when i was with tesco i got hit by a skip lorry, i was in no way at fault yet they treated me like i was a criminal and were incredibley unhelpful, i paid them to be my insurance company yet when it came down to it they were as good as an inflatable dartboard, im now wiser enough to see that paying a little extra can go such a long way. shame it took such a bad experience to have my eyes opened.

I first insured with Tesco because they were cheapest, even with a tracker subscription, I had one claim and found them superb .

Only changed to A Plan because they didn't insist on having a tracker.

Do Tesco require a tracker now a days?
