Default Brake pad reccomendations

Afternoon all

I should be receiving my shiney new 4 pots this comming week and was wondering what pads you would reccomend to use in them.
Not sure what make the pads that are on the car just now are, but they generate so much dust its unbelievable.

What pads do you guys use and what are they like for dust?

i have used Mintex 1144s on my 2 pots they worked but squealed like a pig and the dust was everywhere.
I now use Black diamond pads (on my 4 pots)fine to start with but now starting to squeal (occasionally) and they produce less dust than the Mintex

Hi,

if you do track days and are using the standard classic 4pots, I can recommend Mintex 1155's. However, these are marked not for road use, but they have been fine on the road for me. On track I experienced no fade which really amazed me (braided lines and decent fluid too).

Pagid Blue, Ferodo DSPF (ex DS2000's) or Mintex 1155, in that order.
