Angry

When i had 2000, i could connect to \\computername\c$ and enter a username and password that has rights on that machine.

When i try it in XP Professional I only get a Guest login, can't change the username to one with admin rights.

Any ides how I can see the full hard drive on another XP PC??

Have you tried mapping to it? (map network drive through explorer?)

Hope that helps

Cheers

Question

In the network properties Authentication tab theres a checkbox that reads....authenticate as a guest when user or computer info is not available, is this ticked??? if so, untick it...

Thanks for giving me a clue Dom, I found it under LOCAL SECURITY POLICIES, SECURITY, NETWORK ACCESS, Connect as Classic Local User, not guest (just incase anyone else comes accross the problem)
