Any one know what setting I have to turn on or off to keep the internet connection live? ( It's not a keep alive problem as it stays on when PCs are on or in use ).

Have a couple of PCs - wired and wireless, and xbox wireless, going to the US Robotics Maxg router.

When the PCs/xbox are off for the day the router drops the internet connection, and it does not remake a connection when opening outlook express or IE7.

Dial on demand/timeout settings been tried both on and off, time out set to 4000 mins! DHCP lease set to 10 days. Router sits powered on and ADSL, wireless and power lights stay on.

Reset modem via power cycle or via the web interface and Internet comes back on.


Any help welcome!


USR help desk not sure, but tell me to turn off the dial on demand settings as they are not needed unless I want to drop signal ona frequency!
