Is anybody interested in forming one?

I have three passions in my life

1. Wife and Kids

2.(a Close second) The Scooby

3. Golf

Would gladly do all the organising if there is enough interest

Hi phil I would be intersted in a golf society, I have played golf all over the country and you often see other scoobys in the car parks so setting up a society which could meet up a few times a year should be no problem. I am a member at West Herts Golf Club in Watford.

All the best TIM

Absolutely. That would be a good grin

I'm sure that there are one or two bandits about. It would be interesting to see what everyone is playing off.

Cheers

Nice to see some positive feedback

Well I'm going to keep this at the top until after Xmas

Then Perhaps we can have an inaugral thrash about to gauge all the Bandits out there ( I personally play off 28 HEEEEEHEEEEE )

Seriously there are some great Courses out there which could be combined with a little drive

First Choice would be perhaps Celtic Manor , Newport
Played the Pro Am last year and have our Corporate event there each year

But there are plenty of others

So register your interest and I will be in touch in the New Year

Phil,
Yea I'm up for it, if a bit rusty. Not a member anywhere so would need to be places that are not fussy about handicap certs.

I am a member of a golf club but don't have a handicap (can't be bothered to play in the competitions.....). I usually play off the low to mid 20s though (I think 93 is a 'good round' and 98 is a 'crap round').

Hi phil,

hope you don't hit a golf ball as hard as you bowl....

only played once this year - the place you can see from the m25 b4 M11 . shot a personal worst (106) , game prior to that (October 2000 ) shot 86, average around the early to mid 90's when in practise......so bring on the practise, oh yeah, and I know 1 or 2 mates that would appreciate a erm...Whack!

have a good Christmas, look out 4 ya in the new year....
