Tescos are shocking, they give low quotes but thats because they give sod all help when needed.

Have a good look around but i personally wouldnt ever touch tesco insurance ever again, they are unprofessional, rude, unhelpful and should stick to selling spuds!!

Im surprised at that TBH...

Last year we had a saxo hit the discovery up the ****, they were insured with tesco, and even tho all they did was break the tow bar electrics and nearly wrote the saxo off.. tesco were on the phone 2 days later asking what damage/where i wanted to get it fixed etc... Told them not to bother as we had already change the socket for one we had already...

I'm 24, 5 years no claims and I pay £890 for a stage one modified MY99 UK Turbo. And that's through Gary at Keith Michaels.

I found Adrian Flux extremely expensive for a Scooby..
Gary's quote was at least 66% cheaper than what they quoted me!

Im a little confused how you lot get your insurance so cheap.

I have 6 years no claims (been driving longer on fleets, etc) and am about to try to get insurance on an V4 STi Type R. Thing is Ive owned the car eight years, drove it on a fleet policy and when the company I was part of went 'belly up' last year took it off the road. I m a bit worried about even trying to get a quote for it. I will probably only drive it at weekends, in good weather, when I havent got to go any where I darent park it (about two weekends use a year then and its not moving out of the garage). Its a second car that wont do much really.

Any advice from you lot would be greatly appreciated or any pm's from insurance providers would be great. I hate using it as an expensive shelf in the garage.

Cheers
