What does anyone know about these cars? After a bit of research I've found that they were either equipped with the 4AGE engine (as in MK1 MR2) pushing out a meagre 145bhp or the 4AGZE 170bhp supercharged version (as in MK1 MR2 SC imports) but I've been offered an alleged 20 valve version said to have 230bhp. I can't find any info on these and I'm wondering if it even exists! The car is still in transit and as such I can't confirm any engine numbers, etc. so was just wondering if anyone had heard of such a thing.

Were they the booted version of the AE86??? Engine may be a modern transplant, i can't see them doing that sort of engine back then!

 

Think you mean the AE111?

No relation to the AE86,the 20v engines are fitted into AE86's though sometimes .

After much more searching I've found a 20 valve Turbocharged model. Apparently extremely rare but I'm guessing this is the beastie.
