I have a new laptop with an express card slot , the vodaphone 3g card wont fit it , it is designed to go into the earlier PCMCIA slots . I know vodafone do a new usb type faciltiy but wondered if there is a nother quick fix via a simple plug in adaptor pcmcia to express card adaptor, any ideas suggestions or places i can source such a device ? thanks

My new Rock laptop as one of the new express card slots , And I cant believe wireless cards and the like haven't been made yet to fit this .

 

I looked into this for a mate, the adapter was about £200!

Shoulda done the homework before buying a laptop with no pcmcia slot
