Default Wii in HD? 360 via HDMI?

Well, having bought a new 42in LCD TV yesterday, my Wii looks appalling after the joys of R6 Vegas in 1080i.

I see online there is a component cable available, and there is a 480p HD mode in the Wii settings.

Anyone tried this yet? Any recommendations on which cable to get?

The other prob is this is going to mean swapping out cables each time I change between 360 and Wii. Is there a HDMI option for 360 as the telly has 2 x hdmi ports.

thanks
ED

No HDMI for the 360 - yet, rumours are that its in the pipeline, but probably only because the PS3 uses it and MS dont want to be seen "falling behind" so to speak.

Component switch boxes are pretty reasonable these days, and most do a decent job.

Sn forbids linking to ebay - so have a look at this item - 280064284935.

I've got the component cable from Gameplay and it looks an awful lot better in 480p 15 squid!

I assume the component at least removes all the jaggies from around text etc? Mine looks like the telly isn't tuned in properly
