Yeah mate, totally sweet!! been playing Crash Bandicoot all day.

leonpoole psp-hacks.com These is no 'emulator' as such, you need to put the hacked firmware on then it just plays ps1 iso's.

2GB Pro Duo sticks are now around the £25 mark. Well worth the investment

4gb are only £40 off flea bay - I currently have 2 x 2gb ones and soon to be getting a 4gb one

some ISO`S are smaller it depends on how big your original is as chocabo racing is only 330mb

Can you help me here please. I have done my psp simply to play the pile of ps one games i have but im struggling to convert them (using popstation). The readme file doesnt make any sense at all.

__________check below_________________

- Get the Hot shots 2 game of the playstation store, and its keys.bin, and put it in the same
directory than popstation, renaming it from EBOOT.PBP to BASE.PBP.

Even if using other ps3store game could work, it is not recommended because the program was
done specifically using this one. USE HOT SHOTS 2 USA.

(Note: this is needed in order to get the data.psp and a few data).

- Backup your psx CD to a cd image, using some tool for that.

- Put the iso in the same directory than popstation.

- Execute popstation.exe from the command line. You have to pass one parameter, which is the filename
of the iso. e.g:

> popstation castlevania.iso

The program will generate the EBOOT.PBP, it may take some time, depending of the size of the iso.

By default, the program will use the ICON0.PNG, PIC0.PNG and PIC1.PNG from the BASE.PBP. (hot shots)
If you want to use your own pics, place them in the same directory than popstation, and he will
take those.

Note: DO NOT use programs such as pbpunpacker to modify pbp's generated by popstation. They won't
work after that.

Note2: The program is compiled using cygwin. Therefore, cygwin dll's are required if you don't have them
Google cygwin1.dll to find it.

- Transfer the EBOOT.PBP WITH the KEYS.BIN to the folder you like inside /PSP/GAME and launching it
from 3.02 OE-B XMB.

firstly you need to get hold of the Eboot and keys.bin from hotshots 2 then down load this (there are others but I use this for now) MaxConsole Forums - PopStation GUI Release

rename the hotshots 2 eboot to BASE.PBP leave the KEYS.BIN as it is - use ultra ISO or similer to rip your PS1 backup ISO and place into the popstation folder (same one containing the BASE.PBP and KEYS.BIN file open up the program popstation - then select the ISO is shoud run for about a minute then it will create an EBOOT.PBP

Copy the new EBOOT.PBP and the KEYS.BIN to your PSP Game folder but put it in its own folder within the game folder and call the folder anything you want.

for example you will open up the game folder which will contain your PS1 backup game say fifa 2000 and within that folder it will have EBOOT.PBP and KEYS.BIN

hope this makes sence

also remember the game must be NTSC or the screen will be off set and the game will glitch all over the place

it needs to say SONY COMPUTER ENTERTAINMENT AMERICA WHEN IT BOOTS UP

so you got the two files keys and the ebot file from the iso you reated with popstation on your g:\PSP\game folder create a folder call "game1" (example) and then place both those 2 files in that game folder you just created ?

the keys doesnt change when you run your iso within the program it creates an new eboot which needs to be paird up with the keys.bin so only them 2 files are on your PSP in there own folder within game

once you get it to work you can then fiddle with the icon picture and background picture but dont even look at that yet

also notice all the files in the popstation dir - notice the base and keys file there from hot shots 2 - my iso of a ps1 backup game is also in there and its just created the new eboot at the bottom - put that along with the keys file onto your psp (copy the keys file dont take it fully out)
