Default Those with classic facelift 98/00 dash help.

I have just fitted a 98sti facelift dash into my94.
I need help with trying to understand what parts are missing to complete the job. There must be peeps who have removed the plastic trim panel above the footpedal to do a diagnostic check?
My trim panel has 2 or 3 plastic pegs at the back which push into the upper dash section (square slots) I am not sure what is suppose to be in these slots. Spring clips or something? So whats missing?

The other section is the bonnet lever. Mine is missing so I need to know what is required to finish this bit off.
I still have my old bonnet lever from the pre96 dash, this is bolted to a metal bracket which then bolts/screws the to upper & lower dash?
The pre96 bracket is not compatable with the new dash.
Does the new dash have a metal bracket? Whats missing?

Thanks Ticky

IIRC there is nothing on the square slots - they just mate together with the holes to hold the trim in place. Then there are 2 metal screws (one above the bonnet release & one bottom left of the trim), and one plastic plug on the side stop it all coming loose.

Again IIRC the bonnet release reamains in place when the bottom section is removed - I think it was attached to something behind the dash.(I'd have to strip it down to look)

Thanks I managed to find out what was missing.
Your correct the bonnet lever is attached to the side of the a pillar body.
The lower trim panel does clip into the slots as you say but where its screws into the panel or bracket which is behind it. Thats the part that is missing.

Thanks again.
