Hello,

Pics you request.

These are genuine P1 wheels , had trouble with spokes fouling the calipers due to the extra width so made some 9mm spacers out of alluminium.
Cheers Matt

MY98 STi type R... 18inch Prodrive reps... fitted with 3mm spacers on each corner to bring the wheels out just slightly...
The wheels clear the Brembos by miles...

This pic was took when the engine was out... hence alittle high on the front...

They won't fit behind Prodrive P-WRC 7.5 x 18 ET53 (P1 Style Alloys), as I tried.

Isn't it dangerous to have spacers that big??? Did you have to get longer bolts?

Heres mine,
Copying the trend of Pff7's replicas, I used these as I knew they would fit over brembo's and they are easier to clean:

And no I don't normally hang around Mcdonalds, we just happened to use it as a meeting piont one day

I used standard discs that I had grooved to match my rears

Fronts bolt straight on, backs can be done but require some mods to do so, for more info check out Scott.T thread:

Use the Newage STI Disks, the 2001-2004 go straight on, 2005 on would need re-drilling to the correct PCD.

Yeah longer bolts were needed easy job knock the old ones out then pull the new ones in with a selection of washers and the original nut, then cut to length.

Default Brembos fit Classic wagon

This is my first posting on Scoobynet. Yes, you can fit the Brembo 4 pot callipers to the Classic model with 17" wheels. I used the 330 mm discs, calipers and braided lines on my 1996 WRX Wagon and what a difference! I have just replaced the standard Bremo pads wth EBC red dot. These have more bite and better for fast road use of track days. Hope this helps. Alex.
