Allloooo mate

Yeah carbon is nice, but for me its a style that could very easily be seen as chav very soon as the prices as dropping very quickly on carbon fibre parts.

Dont get me wrong i like carbon fibre, but im not keen on buying loads of carbon bits and then have to change them because it is the new chav must have part.

I seen an american DBM car on 22b.com the other day that was due to be painted the same colour as his car but he said he liked the look, and so did i too be honest?

Im not convinced at the minute thats why i was lookin for some pics

Have been thinking of painting my bonnet black too on a 95 STI type RA. Think it might sit right with the black mirrors and black door handles.........

Bonnet needs respraying anyway, shelves in garage collapsed, TD05 from top shelf bounced off the bonnet

The blue and black looks good

I wouldn't do it. When I see cars like that I just think it's the poor mans attempt at carbon fibre. Either that or you are going for the 'taxi' look.

ROTFLMAO

When I pranged my first car, a Vauxhall Chaviler, I was driving around for a while with matt black wings and bonnet until I could afford to get them painted. Could of left them alone, saved a few ££, and looked well wikked in the process.

Doh!
