Hi everyone,

Does anyone know the interval when the cambelt would need replacing on a 2002 pug 206 1.4 petrol engine, it is due for a 4 year service and has covered 34k

The reason I ask is because the fanbelt tensioner has started making a horrible noise and needs replacing and i heard its a difficult job so may as well get the cambelt done at the same time if its due??

according to autodata- 80,000 miles normal conditions
48,000 adverse conditions

 

So that would be the 4 year service then??

Its due a 4 year now so looks like its cambelt time
