Hi

Can anyone help me with a what I hope is a simple question, will the standard clear brake light from a low level WRX spoiler from a MY06 fit as a replacment to the one that comes with the DRM replica.

The only reason I ask is that I've spoken with David and he only has the STI spoiler at the moment with the red light and I really want a clear one?

Hi Arron,

I have a DRM replica STi spoiler on my WRX, but mine came with the clear brake light and not a red one. If the red brake light has the same dimensions and fitting as the clear one from DRM, then no you will not be able to replace it with the one from the Subaru low level spoiler.

The standard WRX brake light is wider than the one on my DRM STi replica. Also the standard brake light screws into the underneath of the spoiler, whereas the DRM brake light screws into the back of the spoiler.

Cheers Mike, yes thats really helpful as the DRM spoilers at present only come with a red brake light and I was hoping I could swop the lights over.

Now confused as I want a STI type spoiler but only if it comes with a clear brake light.

I'll have to keep looking.
