recommended oil for diff, gearbox on jdm sti7

anybody know the recommended oil for 2001 jdm sti7 and what type of rear diff it has

I "think" its a plated 180 diff (same as my MY03 JDM STi).
As for fluid, I just leave that to the garage as they know best

any ideas on the difference between a lsd and a plated version and do they use different oils, or am i talking bo**ocks. was gunna go for silky syn5, anygood anybody

plated and LSD are monikers for the same thing........

syn5 is not really an LSD oil..................

personally we use a Millers specific LS oil..
