I have just bought a Hayward & Scott backbox (ebay item: 8046179452) because my Tiphoon is a bit intrusive when I have "The Boy" in the back of the car, so I may be looking to sell it when the new one arrives.

At the moment I'm just gauging interest in South Wales in case anyone is thinking of upgrading, although if I don't sell it locally (not sure if I can be arsed with ebay/shipping/etc) I may keep it and put it back on for SN excursions, shows, etc then change it back when I get home.

If anyone is interested, it should be available in a week or so (Flopsy - fancy another visitor ) let me know.

It does have a couple of scratches which weren't declared by the seller when I bought it, plus it has a scrape on the underside.

Other than that it's in great condition, here's a nice pic of it on the car. For any S. Wales SN users I'll be happy to "do a deal"

Mine is alot quiter in the cabin now and it only cost me about £35 in materials

 

I've still got a lagged TSL downpipe under the bed as well......

Soon I'll have an H&S backbox, Magnex de-resonated section, oe cat pipe, TSL downpipe, TSL or H&S up pipe.

Something tells me I should've employed a project manager a bit earlier in the process

Will it fit my Impreza Turbo UK 1997. Currently running ScoobySport full system?

 

I'm not sure TBH, I know it's available for classic or newage fitment but I wouldn't like to say "Yes" without knowing for definate.....

 

I've fitted a new age pipe on a classic in the past... all you need is to change one of the hangers positions, the two on the back box will fit without any troubles

ScoobySport system way too quiet!!!! It doesn't upset my nextdoor neighboor enough - which are funny f***ers! (although it does seem to vibrate things in the house when ticking over!)

 

Mine's meant for a newage aswell they can be made to fit, mine is an HKS that took a bit more than just moving one of the hangers, Think 2 had to be moved and i had to have it cut and joined. Took it to a place in Cardiff just off City Road, called Prospeed they modded it for about £40 for me.

 

I think the rear hanger is removeable on this? rich will know, you might be able to just turn it around or at worst get another hanger for a classic from TSL

btw Rich have you thought about getting a bung that way you get to keep it and make it noisy when you want
