what tyres with 18" rota's

what tyres with 18" rota's
away to get a set of rota alloys for my scooby, going to get set of 18's in gunmetal
what sie of tyres would you recommend, and what size of tyres do you all have on yours?
ones just now are 215/45/17, was thinking a 215 /40/18 or a 215 /35/18
0r should i be gewtting 225's ???
any help would be great guys
