Question

Currently my 93 jap wrx is on standard 15" 205/55/R15s and im about to make the jump to 17" (probably OZ Superleggera).

My understanding is that the most important aspect when choosing new wheels & tyres is to try and maintain the same overall diameter, my calculations tell me that i should be looking for some 215/40/ZR17s, any suggestions?

Cheers!
Ade.

That size will do just fine

Toyos are a good bet imho, S02's better but hard to get hold off and £120 ish more for the set. S03's are around, no idea how good or bad there are, the SO2 replacement is the S04, not available yet.

cheers Simon

Yippee, i've finally managed to get a hold of some 17" Superleggeras. In the end I plumped for the Toyo Proxes T1-S (215/40/17). They should be with me by Friday. It's like Christmas come early, now i can get that brake upgrade i've been longing for!
