The Sigma battery back-up siren on UK models from 01MY is concealed behind trim to increase the access time in the event of an attack. This is a Thatcham requirement for Original Equipment systems.
Although the location is not that security sensitive, rather than post it on the forum, I would rather just confirm that you can clean/jet wash the engine bay area without worrying about having to cover the siren.
