Well, been up about half 'n' hour (no sign of Michelle yet http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/rolleyes.gif http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/wink.gif )

What a pants night - NOT! http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/wink.gif http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/biggrin.gif

Excellent venue - no sign of things kicking off when you bumped into people. Banging sound system, just a shame about the power cut

No hangover this morning, despite a just a few drinks. http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/smile.gif

Thanks to Salsa for taking us all back to Trouser Towers, where our host with the most, Trouser, plied us with post club tea 'n' toast.

Cracking night, laughs a plenty. One to repeat if you folks will have me back (please!). http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/smile.gif

....right u bunch of East Midlands monkies - sort out another night out and I'll show ya all how to dance (like an epileptic chimp being electrocuted http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/biggrin.gif ) - who's up for a night in Brum ...either Broad Street or Gods Kitchen for some large choons??

ps I DO NOT live in or are associated with Brum in any way shape or form - thank the good lord http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/biggrin.gif http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/biggrin.gif

You and Trouser should get on fine then. http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/wink.gif http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/biggrin.gif http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/biggrin.gif

Only problem with Brum is having to shell for accomodation - it's a bit far from Trouser Towers.

What about the Travelodge on Broad Street? £49.50 per room a night and you can sleep 4 in comfort or 6 at a push?? Depends on how many of you chappies are up for it?

MichelleWRX1994
09 July 2001, 06:46
Count me out of that, not into group sleeps!!!

Top night out, managed to get 8 http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/eek.gif free drinks from the daft buggers who chatted me up http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/biggrin.gif then managed to blag myself away from them (phew) after telling them I rallied and sometimes co-drove for Mr Burns!!!! LOL http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/wink.gif

My feet are killing me!!!

I had a strange feeling at around 6.30pm...........I had at that point severely sobred up and was starting with a hang over - very moody at work to say the least, people kept asking me what was up 'cos I was so quiet!!! What are they trying to say??? http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/wink.gif

Michelle.

(Feeling better, but still tired and feet are still very sore)

Already planning on doing the 'Ring again in September (going to be an expensive month - The 'Ring, Scotland run and Wales Camping Trip)

I'll sleep anywhere at 4am after a load of beers, although I prefer a bed over a bush or gutter. http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/biggrin.gif

Me? Pay for my own drinks??? When there are plenty of males around perfectly willing to buy them for you??? http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/biggrin.gif http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/wink.gif

I felt it was a rather successful night and I have perfected the art of blagging my way out of conversation with them after getting the said drink http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/smile.gif

None where worth following up, half didn't know what a Subaru Impreza was and none of them had a 22B or Viper.......

The search continues http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/wink.gif .........

hmmmmmmmmmmmm who said i wanted to *pull* u?? lol

let me tell u a little secret Michelle....
any girl that just looks for a guy that will buy them drinks is not worth 'following up' and they end up with the *dreggs* of the club, etc......Nice guys like myself + ChrisB are a little more choooosey and would rather sit and wait! therefor the Laydees like yourself don't get a look in!!! http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/wink.gif

its better to keep ur standards high than to drop them,
easy to drop your standards - much harder to raise them!!!!

So Phil you keep your standards high then? http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/wink.gif

I can see that buying "laydeees" drinks would severely dent your Super Plus Unleaded budget but may be a touch more successful than the "Dolphin Trainer" chat up line. http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/wink.gif http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/biggrin.gif

I'll get Michelle a drink if I can make it next time. http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/smile.gif I'd best not let Lorraine see this post. http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/biggrin.gif LOL
