I think we should have a meet to celebrate our independence from the USA. As a nation we seem to forget this great day.

To celebrate this fact and also my new Scooby, we should have a meet at the oldest pub in England. The Royal Standard in Beaconsfield.

It would also be nice to see all the original Bucks/Berks members in attendence, even if their choice of car has moved on (Neil R to name but one).

Anyone else interested in attending ?

That's hilarious, especially to someone from the colonies like me... You guys crack me up. Too bad I'll be back in the States by then, I'd love to be there as the only representative from the evil USA.

The idea is to have a meeting in the evening around say 7.00 pm.

Some of us struggle with Leave passes during the weekend !!

Hopefully it will be a nice evening. The pub does some nice grub.

Good news, I have persuaded a few extra scoobie owners to come along since my last post.

WRX steal grey version 6, P1, DB MY99 Wagon *2 + a Honda S2000 (well he nearly bought one!).

Here is David map. For those that dont know the area too well. Get yourself to Beaconsfield and follow signs to the New Town. Once there follow signs to Penn and Hazlemere. After leaving the shops in Beaconsfield new town you will come to a cricket ground on your left, and the Red Lion Pub. Turn right there and follow the road for about 1 mile. Pub on right
