CRAFT 26 November 2000, 18:33 A couple of us are looking at oranising a drive on the Sun.17th dec. Starting from Skipton, we have a route planned out, taking in a variety of roads. Should'nt be anything more than 100 miles and will start around
mid-morning.
Anyone interested log in below or e-mail..

Ian E 27 November 2000, 01:40 I'm interested - if I've still got my license. http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/mad.gif
Watch out for hidden Police Scoobys (marked and unmarked) with Laser Speed equipment in the area.
Cheers,
Ian.
BarryK 27 November 2000, 09:40 Hey, it was on the 12th last year, started out from Settle. It snowed the day before, additional drama!
I should be able to make it this time too.
Alec 27 November 2000, 12:36 Count me in.
AndrewC 27 November 2000, 17:08 Sounds good to me,
Mark, I thought your folks lived near Kendal? I think you just make up where they live to give you an excuse to trek halfway across the country for a blast http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/wink.gif
Andrew...
CRAFT 27 November 2000, 19:53 We're going to be doing a recce in the next few days so more info to come....
Dales 27 November 2000, 22:41 Yes please, count me in...couldn't really refuse with that title could I?
Blackscooby 28 November 2000, 10:35 AndrewC,
Aaahhhhrrr you've rumbled me http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/biggrin.gif
Seriously...Settle ain't that far from Kendal..or Skipton.
Got a radar pointed at me on Sunday, whilst I was making good progress in Cheshire, fortunately I was amongst other motors on a dual carrageway.
Have to wait and see http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/frown.gif
Rum* 30 November 2000, 09:38 I'll be up for it....
re the boys in blue - I was stopped by (or rather I stopped for) the fully marked plod scooby on Skipton bypass last week - we had a good chat, he looked at mine http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/wink.gif and I looked at his http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/wink.gif and we then went on our ways...
Nice car that white marked up Scoob - even if it is plods !!! *LOL* http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/biggrin.gif
buddy 02 December 2000, 16:59 Im game for it the more the merrier
(Buddy v5 sti type r coupe)
Rum,
I had an encounter with the dark blue police scoob on the skippy by pass he pulled me up probably the same guy, as he was quite pleasant (for a policeman) and was telling all abuot his car prodrive tweaks etc..
CRAFT 03 December 2000, 21:01 OK then, update time!
We've done the route and it's a corker.
The plan is, 11am sunday 17th dec. Meet up
in Skipton on one of the car parks.
The route is around 55 miles and we've located a water hole for the end of our run.
The directions to the car park are as follows
If comming from Burnley/Clitheroe head into Skipton centre and go up the main
street towards the roundabout with the monument in the middle, turn left at roundabout then first left onto Water street
(castle pub on corner) then just follow signs
for car park, left at mini-roundabout and you'll see carpark. If coming in from Leeds/Ilkley when coming into Skipton go right at roundabout with monument then first left onto water street.
Hope this is understandable?
See you all on sunday 17th.......
Cheers.. CRAFT&CO. http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/biggrin.gif

JH
CRAFT 07 December 2000, 08:52 JH good to hear from you, so is it still ok
to use the 'S' word http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/wink.gif
bigmalc, sorry to here your selling the scooby, what are you moving onto next?
I'll be in skipton around 1030am, hope everyone is ok with directions....
bigmalc 07 December 2000, 21:01 Craft -
I've got a Mitsubishi 3000GT (R5 MBP - you've probably seen it in Rawtenstall) and can't justify having both. May treat myself to an Sti in the future though. Is your the blue 99MY?
Cheers - Malc
CRAFT 08 December 2000, 08:06 'Very flash', have'nt seen it yet, but will look out for you. Bring the 3000GT along!
Nothing wrong with a bit of diversity....
No, it's not the 99MY, sorry' but it's a bit
dodgy to post anymore info... if you know
what I mean. http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/smile.gif
Mojo 09 December 2000, 17:17 Hi Crafty,

CRAFT 09 December 2000, 19:34 Good to hear from you!
where have you been? nothing interesting
for you to post about http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/biggrin.gif
Hows the BBS sticker fairing up? did you sort
out the exhaust or have you gone for a quiet one like ours..... http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/biggrin.gif
Anyway on this magical mystery tour we'll
follow you http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/wink.gif
Mojo 10 December 2000, 18:12 Hi Matey!
Not been on for a while due to work and stuff.
Nothing I ever post is interesting, thought you might have gathered that by now. http://cgi.tripod.com/smilecwm/cgi-bin/s/scorchio/stounge.gif
Sticker is cool cheers, still haven't sorted the exhaust. Never been good at making decisions. Have bought a nice ScoobyNet Sherpa fleece thing though. Highly recommend em. http://cgi.tripod.com/smilecwm/cgi-bin/s/scorchio/scool.gif
Just thought you should know that there may be a problem with Skipton next Sunday. Today and next week is Skipton's Medevil weekend festival. I've been there today and it basically means closing all but one road through Skipton and filling all the car parks with coaches. It's a total nightmare. http://cgi.tripod.com/smilecwm/cgi-bin/s/scorchio/saeek.gif
Not sure what you want to do, but figured you might not know.
Cheers

CRAFT 11 December 2000, 08:21 Just who do they think they are, organising
a medievil day on OUR DAY 'BASTIDS'
well looks like we'll have to look at another meet up point.... Any ideas anyone?
Perhaps later on in the week I'll have a
trundle over to check any possible sites, need a large carpark/pub/resturant. WE'll keep you informed.
Cheers for the info MJ

AndrewC 11 December 2000, 10:39 Craft,
What about the Little Chief (sic) on the A59 at Skipton? couldn't be easier to find!
AndrewC...
BarryK 11 December 2000, 12:46 How about starting from Settle then? There is a largeish car park there next to a Shell petrol station with a buttie/hot drinks shop too.
How about a 10:00 to 10:30 start so we miss most of any traffic?
Would it affect your route drastically?
Missing Details 11 December 2000, 19:42 Barry K - You only want Settle 'cos you think it'll bring snow again !!
Craft - I'm ok with Settle if you are, CALL ME ASAP
CRAFT 12 December 2000, 08:04 Right then, the new meet up point is the
Little Chef on the A59 around 1030'ish
Apparently it's easy to find,but I'll be
checking it out later on in the week, and will post directions etc.
Hope this is all OK with everyone and not
to early? I'll be there from 1000, so see you all there.... http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/smile.gif
BarryK 12 December 2000, 12:25 I'm told the Little Chef car Park is, well... little. Although I've never seen it myself, might they object if we fill it up?
Otis 12 December 2000, 16:50 Count me in http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/smile.gif.
Otis.
Blackscooby 12 December 2000, 16:57 The Little C car park is dinky from what I remember.
Isn't the auction mart a better choice ?
(depending on whether there is something on http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/biggrin.gif)
Mark
Missing Details 12 December 2000, 19:23 The Little Chef car park is small, but there is the hotel car park attached.
See you all Sunday 10.30
Rum* 12 December 2000, 22:38 Which of the Leeds lads are coming across....
