330ci?
Unless you want it compared to a l33t machine like a scoob only way you're going to get a serious answer from someone who has driven one is to drive it yourself.
Give Bristol Street a ring, I know they had a Trophey 225 in not long ago.
Be careful of those twisties though...

You can get a 225 Cup'd Megane for around £15,500 from brokers or the Cup version for around £14,800. I've seen a black 225 Cup spec megane in the flesh and I thought it looked very nice!
you can pick up renault sport 225 for uder 15k but renault megane cup around 16k, expect to pay 17-18 k for the trophy version as it has the cup chassis but the trophy spec/interior - very nice motor.
only few seconds slower than STI around top gear track - clarkson rated it

A friend of mine has got the Megane 225 (not cup or trophy though).
I was quite impressed with it.
Power delivery is much smoother than my STi, i.e. the turbo doesn't just kick-in, it seems to come in more gradual if you know what I mean. Suspension is pretty firm too.
I was impressed with the interior too. I wasn't in it for long and wasn't paying that much attention to detail but it seemed pretty good quality.
The amount of little gadgets was good, much better than the scoob, auto-on lights, auto-on wipers etc.
He is very pleased with it......make sure you shop around, as said before, there are some huge discounts available, he saved about £2.5k off list if I remember correctly, might have been more.

Test drove one, very nice engine. Little bit of torque steer but nothing you cant live with. no idea what it would be like in the wet though. As fast as my WRX was IMHO. Suspension was not soft but was ok on our crap roads, the brakes were good too. As FWD cars go one of the best on sale at the moment in the sub 20k price band. I would have one but I need something with a bigger boot atm.
