After selling my Rb5 i'm thinking about getting another car, but not sure what to get.

Will a poll help me?

The XKR is worth a look. I was very impressed when I passengered in one!

I'd agree with the M5 comment... or an Audi RS4.

But if its purely down to the list above then I'd go for the Jaguar with the optional 20" Alloys in Dark Green.. just like the one out of the Bond Film.

Cheers,
Grant

I love the Jag XKR but I wish they had made them with a manual box as an option.

My German colleague would go for the RS4.

Have yourself lots of test drives, it's the only way.

Surely you don't want another Bimmer!! The M3 is a little cliche and a bit wide boy, but I agree with the M5.

I personally don't like the TVR as it's even more wide boy than the M3!! And the Merc is a little bland.

Sorry thought I should justify the choice for the Jag!

Andy, please excuse me but, what do you mean by cliche and a bit wide boy. Are we talking chavy or tarty?

Hope little angel's being good and your getting to spend loads of time with her.

Looking into M5's now. Can get a fully loaded 2001 for 26k.

4 doors and a nippy engine

And i get change to spend on a remote controled plane for little one (and the new ps3, and mods, coz he loves daddy modding his car )

Or do i think about the wr1 ?

Oh,,,, this is doing my head in,,,,,,

Whenever people talk about moving on from an Impreza, people always seem to suggest an M3 hence the cliche. It may be a great car, but it doesn't do it for me.

Wide boy, well a little "chav", a little vulgar and a little 80's trader feel about it! I couldn't bring myself to own a 3 series, even if it were an M3!

I think you can do better than an M3

I'm spending lots of time with Amelia, I've been made redundant!! No problem though, looks like bigger and better things are on the horizon! I'll enjoy it while I can!

Drive both and I bet you will discount the WR1 quickly! The M5 offers so much more power/value/toys for your money.

You're made of money Adam.......

Rather than the XKR (very unrealistic with Ethan as little as he is!), how about considering a S Type R. Same engine, but much rarer.

In that, you have the power, elegance, comfort, practicality, and lots of money left over

RB...Im in exactly the same boat......

Test drove an e46 M3..it was OK...but didnt exactly set my heart racing as I had hoped it would....

Im probably going to go for a 996 c2/4....but I have a sneaking feeling that an m5 may just be sold after a test drive...

The M5 was a super car in a straight line and was good on the corners.

Dislikes: Manual only (fancy SMG), felt old inside (2001 model), felt a bit big on the road.

Proberly go for the M3................"OH SOD IT,,, might go to confused.com coz that's what i am
