I've been looking at whiteline and Powerflex Drop links.

Which one is the best on my02wrx?

I probably wont go for metal as it might rust!!!

Whiteline metal?
whiteline alloy?
Powerflex alloy?

I am planning to fit them by myself. Will it effect the alignment?

Wont effect the alignment at all.
Whiteline alloy are stronger than the whiteline steel but almost twice the price.

Wouldn't recommend the powerflex ones as they are so chunky they hit the control arm when used in the "soft" position.

I was told that all the solid droplinks perform the same, its just the look that people want(bling factor). I went for steel droplinks as they are under the car, your not going to really see them, unless you polish them.It wont effect your alignment

I think i will get the whiteline alloy DL. will fit them and play with them for a couple of weeks b4 the RR day at powerstation 28thMay which I have also booked in for alignment.

 

Yes I looked at them the other day, not rusting but are filthy from road dirt. nearly 2years old

 

Just fitted ( well the wife fitted tonight actually) the whiteline alloy rears and the metal to the front - fells like totaly new car, less bodyroll (one of the old rear links was shot) feels much much flatter and less "boaty" at speed. She's not had a go of the "new" car yet, ooops, ive lost her L plates
