STI 9 Bilsteins on STI 8?

STI 9 Bilsteins on STI 8?

Hi,
I'm just wondering is it possible to use the sti 9 biltein shocks and springs on an sti 8.
Or perhaps just changing the springs to Eibachs is a better idea?

Just to clear up things when you say STI8 you mean MY04 and STI9 = MY05?
If yes then the answer to your question is NO there have different positions etc and aren't interchangeable!

No STi is fitted with Bilsteins, whether it be STi8(02MY) or STi9(03MY)

02 & 03MY have different topmounts but the dampers are interchangeable. 05MY has a different mounting to the uprights so will not fit the earlier cars.

My advice would be to change the springs and bumpstops.
