Question Fitting rear ARB + links

Is the above job straight foward for a person who has basic mechanical knowledge or best left to a pro.

Is it just a case of -

Remove old links
Remove old ARB
Transfer bushes etc. onto new bar
Fit new ARB
Fit new links

Will it change my geometry settings?

Any feedback would be great.

Yeah, it's a piece of pi$$ and no you won't affect the geometry.

I've got pics and instructions when I did mine (classic, but newage should be similar if not identical)

You can change them with the car on the deck, but I found it easier to work under some ramps. You need the wheels/suspension loaded to change them so don't just jack the car up.

You've probably done the deed by now, but just in case here are the torque numbers for the link bolts and, no, it won't change your geometry. Enjoy!

18 - 32 Nm = 13 - 23.5 lb-ft

The links come with bushes, so no need to swap them; it's also best to get new polyurethane bushes for the a/r bar to chassis mountings too!

All fitted, very easy job to do.

Just driven around some twisty back roads and Wow what a difference.

The car turns in alot sharper with hardly anybody roll, can get on the power earlier in the corner.

Great mod, just need to change the front links now.
