I have a 96 uk wagon and last night the rear wiper stopped working although the water jets still do.

Anyone know which fuse mayhave blown?

Also, after taking off the interior hatch lining I noticed that some wires had burnt out, could this have blown the motor?

not sure but it might be number 15 fuse in fuse box on the righthand side
of the steeringwheel on the inside of the car, it controls washers and wipers
i think, it's a 20amp fuse. Probably need to sort out your wiring first though
it probably is the cause of your probs.
