Has anyone had a crack at working out the cost per mile of running an MY00 on Super with average MPG (22?)

Presumably you factor in servicing, depreciation etc. Depreciation is the confusing one.

I'm guessing it is about 45p per mile, but that's purely a guess.

One of the car mags (can't remember which) lists the cost as 61 ppm. I assume this is on normal unleaded, so you'll have to increase it a bit.

Autocar did the calculation on their long term runner (5 Door turbo) and broke down the fuel/depreciation costs. I'll look it up later - think it was around 60ppm mark.

 

I calc'd 66ppm on a new car using SUL.
