17 000-GBP plus shipping to the UK from NZ

the car is a Wagon and it's yellow.
mods are:
-18" Tecno Motorsport with Falken rubber
-Whiteline adjustable rear sway-bar
-Whiteline second generation front castor kit (anti-lift)
-king suspension springs (with STi Bilstein trusts)
-Airinx Filter
-Trust 3" turbo-back exhaust line
-Momo shift **** and Trust shift **** (one installed the other comes with the car)

The car was sold as new in New Zealand so it is NOT a crappy Jap import. It is in perfect condition, I simply don't drive it and it sleeps in my garage.

I thought i'd post it for sale here since i saw how much you guys are getting ripped-off by importers who get them from Japan. I can arrange to have it shipped from here as there are many reputable companies that ship from and to the UK all the time. I am in no hurry to sell it and would rather see one of you guys take care of it than one of the idiots in this country.

before anybody asks for pics, my web site is down for some odd reason (i knew i shouldn't have trusted yanks) and i will post them as soon as it is back.

That's a wonderful, gorgeous car... If I changed mine, it would be for a 5 door STI or a 22b. Hmm.

Do you know anything about tax/VAT/SVA issues for the UK, or does anyone else on the board know?

Quick (very) calculations mean this price will work out to about 24k UK on the road. and will need to go through the ESVA which will cost a bit more.

Of course you could lie about the purchase price to save on the duty and VAT but I wouldn't recommend it, those VAT boys are quite harsh.

That said, your car looks fantastic!!!!

So its a 'crappy' NZ import then rather than a 'crappy' Japanese import then?

how would it come to 24Kgbp ?

the freight would be a huge max of 1000gbp and for the rest i know nothing about import laws in the UK but ****e if this is right you guys are really getting fd-off by the govt.

anyway, i just thought i'd let you guys in on it but if it is not possible then so be it.

sorry i even offered.

shipping - one of about 20 things you have to pay for.

shipping,
insurance,
port charges
UK duty
UK VAT
SVA preperation (ESVA preperation)
delivery from port
MOT
UK first registration fee
Road Tax
SVA Test Fee

a few other bits aswell but I can't think off the top of my head.

SVA costs are high, ESVA costs will be higher

Ownly, we do get habitually and regularly fkd by our government.

Our SVA (single vehicle approval) is getting tighter and rather extreme. I'll try to find out how much this would cost...

Dont Sell it. Its a real nice car that deserves to driven. By the way, why buy the car in the first place if you don`t drive it often enough. Go on force yourself to drive it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Why don't i drive it ?

not too long ago i was was an IT consultant, did alot of driving in my Audi S3 and this fine WRX but recently scored a badass IT Manager job that allows me to ride my bike every day (rain or shine) and being a biker at heart from the start, no car could ever take the place of my bike. Hell i even whish i could afford the new M3 but thinking that i would only use it once a week to do the groceries like i do with the WRX just doesn't do it.
