I'm thinking about buying an Sti 4 or 5 and had a question for fellow Scooby owners in the Camberley (Surrey) area - which garages / mechanics do you trust to look after your cars?

Does anyone know of any good local garages that know their stuff, won't rip you off and don't get scared off by servicing and working on imported motors?

Over Thatcham way, not a million miles but is very good and trusted by many on here.

Not many garages around here with the knowledge or experience to look after scoobs to be honest. Whatever you do avoid that Jap Tuning place on top of the New Road on the Aldershot junction. Very, very bad rep for years. They blew a few of my mates cars up over the years....I took my scoob there once and asked them to do an oil change and left some 16 year old looking under the car for the Oil filter and sump plug. I ended up having to show him.....suffice to say I never returned.

Len, I know the place you mean in Aldershot. I took my old Celica there a few years back and wasn't impressed. Expensive and frankly quite arrogant and offish so I won't be going back. Heard similar things from friends.

 

I live in Camberley and Len @ Subaru 4 U is where you should go, top man at very good prices.

I've only ever heard good things about Len

but as an alternative Colin at Thames Valley Motorsport really knows his stuff & is very reasonable too
