I couldnt get a quote from L&V, Im with Tesco.
Tony exactly what info did you give L&V, I was told "not on the list", so cant quote.
This was last October, so maybe things have changed, I would be keem to go with L&V as they are mod friendly and my policy is up for renewal soon.

It seems to depend on who answers the phone with L&V.
I bought an Sti V5 wagon last year, the guy who I bought it from was insured with L&V, but they would not cover me 'cos it was not on their list??
I sold the car in November, the guy who bought it insured it through L&V??

Just ask them to take it to the underwriters, they dont have the car on their list but i specified what it was (lightweight version of a GL jdm car, 4 door turbocharged etc) and came back to me within an hour saying no problems but i think it does depend on who you get.

My insurance is up for remewal soon........ I'll try (maybe in vain) to shop around again........... as mines now an old banger and I hardly drive it I always get upset at paying nearly £1k each yr!!

 

1089 quid fully comp protected in an M postcode area (soon to drop dramatically due to change of location )

and i feel it also after karting on friday! aching bones etc all weekend! you made me think i had to start looking for insurance after saying on friday ed still cant be much worse than the tuscan im sure!
