Have an 03WRX and seem to be going through pads at an alarming rate! Just wondered whether peeps had found any alternative pads to the OE ones that would:

a. give better durability than OE pads
b. stop at least as well as (if not better) than OE pads
c. not break the bank

If not I guess I'll just have to slow done a bit

 

What is an alarming rate? I have been going through a set of fronts every 8000 miles (OE).

Have just changed to some DS2500 which stop a lot better, but too soon to know how well they will last (and they are kinda expensive!).

Don't slow down though!! (that is what wears them in the first place.... don't use them at all!!).

 

Yeah about the same. It's alarming to me anyway Is this normal???
