View Full Version : Are you fed up with that "key in" buzzer?

Whilst tidying the dash install after an alarm was fitted, I found the wires for that annoying "key in" alarm.
It is a two wire connector in a T shape. The wires are black and black with a white stripe. You will find them about halfway down the steering column.
I have not found any adverse effect as yet.
It's great to be able to leave the radio on and door open without that buzzer going off.

I had a similar experience when checking the fuse box under the bonnet. I found a blown fuse and so replaced it. As soon as I did this, the buzzer started going off. I didn’t want to replace the good fuse with the bad one and have been living with the buzzer for to long now. http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/mad.gif

Its bloody annoying and drives the dog mad.

Cheers for the advice
