Talking Van der Sar Penalties

Unlike David James he actually looked like he might save a penalty !
James just didnt seem to have the same prescence in goal that for example a Seaman or a Van Der Sar has !

England need to find a goalie with that kind of presence again !

Being selfish I wish Holland had gone out tonight so that VDS (assuming he is still there next season) is fit & ready to start the season !

Holland looked like they knew how to take a penalty as well - so should we replace the whole team?

I loved the end result of course, but wasn't happy with vd Sar flapping his arms up and down as the penalty-taker took his run up.

Man of the match :vdS with Arjen Robben as runner up for his ability to confound and defeat two close Swedish defenders whilst coming up the left wing.

I cannot believe another Villa player missed (Melberg).
We are cursed

I just hope The Denmark game doesn't got to penalties & Martin Laursen steps up...

Robben has been one of the best dutch players along with Ruud and Stam. He played well against the czechs with a lovely double dummy and beatiful cross. Great penalty last night as well.
