After chatting with a few people at meets it appears that there a few more golf nutters out there just like me!

Thought we could perhaps arrange a golf day at a club somewhere. If there are enough people interested maybe do some groups of 4 on a four ball better ball team competition ... get a few small trophies.

The reason I say four ball better ball is that the higher handicappers can team up with a lower handicap player and because you have to play alternate shots it will make the competition much more fun and also a chance for people to pick up tips on their game.

How's about it?? Possible days to be looked at if enough people come through ...

I've just fitted a bigger turbo and new injectors to me big bertha. Looking at around 445 before the power curve starts falling off!

 

Ceramic coated heads, boron shafts..........handicap of 36++

 

With clubs like that I don't believe ya Knowls! So we have one legit and two spurious handicaps so far!! Should be interesting!!

Course ... well I am a member of Thorpe Hall, which are really crap with allowing guests to play. Garons is a good course, and suited to the handicap range we have. It is located in Southend close to Waitrose.

Other options welcomed but I would say Garons is the best option!

Apparently it is fixed ... again ... ! Had a technician come out today and re-do the pipework - the check engine light has now gone out. Hopefully when I take it out tonight for a ragging ... I mean test drive ... it should be sorted. Just praying that the damn fuel cut doesn't come in again!
