Its a no go for the following reasons:-

1) Can't insure people under 30 on imports
2) Can't insure my impreza because they have to have exact match on ther computer.

Mine is a WRX STI Wagon 5 door ( And they only have a 2 door listed on ther computer)

Oh well poo back to the drawing board again

 

There was a thread about 5 door sti's with L&V a few months ago.
I cant remember the outcome, but a search might throw up some answers

 

Yep it was me. They didn't have an import WRX wagon on the computor, after a bit of discussion with the underwriters got it insured at the 4 door quote with a note on the schedule that its a 5 door.

 

Cheers for the info, i might try them again ( 5 door WRX), as for the 4 door they were soo much cheaper than elsewhere.

 

Good luck. I've been a customer of theirs for 3 years now - I don't know if that made a difference. I read on another thread that they weren't taking on new business WRT imprezas

 

didnt have my car on the computer but we discussed what it was, so they put it under import STI limited Edition
