Coming out of Lanark today, in my 360bhp Beast(Tesco truck),I might have seen Colin Mcrae. Came up to the lights at the wee bridge that takes you up to the railway crossing,...anyway 2 cars in front there was a white 6R4 ,revving like **** (lights at red) after the initial shock of seeing one on the road, it clicked as to who it might be bearing in mind the part of the country I was in and thats what he drove in the Mcrae stages last summer. Could only see inside from side/rear view ,could have been him....then again he might not even be in the country.Lights went green(surprisingly!) and it was off ,heard it in the distance for about 5 min.
Apart from washing my new Scoob that was my thrill for the day.

What depot you driving out off C.Jay.K i work at the Livingston depot but know off only 2 scoobs from that area and i got one and West Lothian Scooby has the other you from Dundee maybe ?

i 'm at Livi too mate , just got Scoob last week....... only had it on Friday, will have it in tomorrow & Tuesday parked in the top car park M Reg WRX .

Theres actually two kicking about Lanark, or used to be. Local landlord had one as well but cant remember what colour it was. Prob was Mcrae, but could have been Jimmy Mcrae as well, I'm sure he used to have one as well
Last I saw C.M he was drivin about in a 350Z.

Got a crackin pic of that 6r4 at the Mcrae stages last summer. Over took him out of Perth to get to stage before he started , he musta thought I was a f@ckin smart ba#tard or something. It was a kinda pearlescent eggshell (weird) white colour, wasn't it?

 

He is,was in he country (ish), earlier in week he was testing at Snetterton, driving a Ferrari LeMans car.
I to have pic'is of him last year @ the Mcrae stages.

i saw your car in the top car park on friday but i didnt know who's it was( well that is if its DBM) but there are so many new starts just now you never know who is driving what. I am a loader so i will have a look out for you at the transport office, as for pongo he is one of those lazy gits at good in LOL

Believe it or not, he spent the day down at Kames in Muirkirk earlier in the month driving a full fairing go kart round the track all day. It broke down and he managed to get one of the local boys to lend him a couple of washers to fix it
