Are there traffic light cameras on the lights as you go up the slip roda to the west link from the direction of the old scrocca works. I was stoped there yesterday and noticed 2 cameras 1 pointing at the white line the other up the slip road.

Not to my knowledge.

Maybe just acitivation cameras for the lights themselves.

Was it a rectangular box sitting on the very top of the lights. I think these are to change the lights to green for ambulances etc.

I there were 2 wee boxes on the top of the lights.

They are just a sensor to trigger a timing mechanism for the lights to change. You will see these on most if not all lights that do not have a push button.
