I wish to trawl the Knowledge Base....

Mine MY99 4-door..used everyday approx 175mls per day...mostly motorway with some A/B roads to spice things up. 2000 will be the year for track days.

Has anyone fitted ALK plus rear a/r droplinks and altered geometry to either MRT or Prodrive and experienced abnormal/excessive tyre wear with (i) 16" wheels (ii) 17" wheels, especially when doing highish motorway miles.

A lot of the handling extras and geometry settings are designed to provide good handling and traction when plying the tracks or decent A/B roads.....what effect does extended driving on motorways do to tyres ?

superb handling... equal tyre wear on all corners.... 17" rims..

I am still wearing the outside of the front tyres despite having the prodrive geometry.
The ALK will not affect tyre wear on the motorway because it does not change camber in the straight ahead position,same for the drop links.I am hoping the ALK will make the wear on the front more even on my car.(due to extra neg camber when turning)

The only thing that may cause uneven wear is the extra negative camber on the front that the prodrive geom provides, most people can get 1.0-1.5 degrees.
The rear has 1.0 degree as standard and this does not cause uneven wear despite the tyres lasting much longer and not having to deal with as much cornering force therefore I cannot see you having any problems.
