When a WRX 'argues' with a wall & tree......
What a bummer.............my first post on the Scoobynet forum and its about my car getting totalled the other day (23/12/2003) on the Forfar->Friockheim Road, Angus. Wife was driving, but she is okay....waiting to see what the insurance man has to say but looking for another car right now................and a new wife!!!!
The modified front end.....

the improved engine ventilation system.......

the 90 degree fog lamp fitment installed.....

the dealer optional 'extra large' mud flap installation......

Thanks guys! Nobody was hurt in the car but the strange thing was the airbags did not deploy so a bit at a loss as to why not.(?)
Aye, sad day was that. Car was mint, no rust at all, 5000 mls but at least the wife did it in style....went through drystone dyke using the front of the car, struck a tree which threw her back out onto the road where she spun and went through the wall backwards and hit another tree! (oh that hurts!)
What this shows is the strength of these cars. No one likes to have a 'prang' but atleast you know you are safe in a Scooby....

Hi m8,
I spoke to u at the Dundee meet last night bout that.
Like i said fella look on the bright side, it`s only a piece of metal & can be replaced. The main thing is that no one was hurt.
But thats a good point u made about the safety factor of them.
Hopefully see u at the next meet in u r new scoob (jus don`t let the wife drive it).
