After I have sold my RB5 I am looking get one of the aforementioned cars. Having owner a GTI-6 previously and really liking it I am tempted to get another, but at the same time I am a bit of a follower of the try something different rule
I was after peoples opinions of all aspects of each car from performance/handling through to build quality etc. to help me decide which I should go for.
Thanks
Grahame

Throw a Jabbasport chip + a S/S exhaust at a Cupra 20 Vt and you'll see 185 - 220 bhp which with the weight of the car should give RB5 performance (even if the delivery is no so dramatic!!!) However you will need at least £700 for the blistein adjustables suspension set up - as nothing less will do + they handle quite ****e as standard (well vcertainly conpaired to what you are used to!! Have a look on www.seastcupra.net in the for sale for some weel priced + well specced cars!!!
306 gti-6 love'em - they go well (well enough anyway) and handle superbly!! Problem is that they are showing their age now and finding a minter will be all the more difficult!!
good luck in your decision!!!
Alright mate...
Well, with the 306 you've been there & done that, so I wouldn't go back again.
The Ibiza is a good car, but as standard it aint that quick, but as the previous post states it aint hard to get them to be quicker!
A mate of mine has one and it is a nice car.
