Have any of you looked in the boot under the carpet?

Can you tell me if you have any of the sound deadener melting to the back of the carpet?

i get you now!!!

Yep - but subaru have fitted a small patch of thin cloth onto the stuff to stop it sticking!!

Hope that helps - try cutting a template of cloth over it and that should sort it. Also - try Dynamat - they sell a silver coated deadener thats heat resisitant - would make the boot "sound less" as well as help the sticky problem!!!
