Can anyone tell me how to remove the rear bumper from an STi 1?

 

There are plenty of nuts bolts and clips holding the thing on, but its all fairly easy just crawl underneath and start exploring.
wear some eye protection and arm yourself with a 10mm socket and a pair of mole grips to pull off any clips you encounter.

Or you could just leave the car outside work for a couple of hours and let some git reverse into it and then drive off – I went for this option Ba$$tard!!!!!

Not all bad though, a Taxi driver saw it happen and a got a description and the reg. I went down the Cop shop and reported it as a hit and run.
