hi all,
had my new scoob for a month now, and what get me going is the anything thats flys around in the boot (easily done of course).

the solution.
wandering around tesco's and came across some collapsable storage crates (a bit colourful though)four fit in easily and two more can sit on top. roundabouts now hold no fear! oh only £4.50 for 3 (one of the cheapest performance extras ever).

I'd be more worried about a guy with a baseball cap in the boot.

There is no reason on gods green earth for anyone to wear a baseball cap. Unless you're playing baseball, but even then..

and don't get me started on polo necks..

I can confirm the Le Mans 99 baseball cap sponsored by Chryslers Oreaca team only comes out for the wet and windy days watching at Snett, Brands and the like and should not be confused with Max powers kids or men with leather base ball caps!

David,

I have a GT Bicycles "Baseball" cap that comes out occasionally when I go non-serious playing on my trials ("pedal") bike... Keeps sun (and sweat ) out of my eyes when I want to concentrate on negotiating obstacles. Is that ok?

Moray: Ah see, that's OK, you have no choice but to wear one (less you wish to be blinded and crash).. but in a car ? as a fashion accessory ? oh dear..

and don't get me started on people who wear sunglasses when it's not bright.. or indoors..

Sunglasses when it's not bright - could be a medical condition!

Baseball caps worn in-car - facing forward = Max Power reader - facing backwards = driver of stolen car (TWOC'ers trade mark).

This smiley looks like me when I don't wear a 'baseball' cap when its sunny. Just cos i'm follicaly challenged and don't want to wear a syrup, doesn't mean i'm a MP candidate!!

Mines a Ferrari Cap (not a Schuey fan BTW) - looks strange in a Scoob I
suppose. I'm in the same boat as MarkF re. the head protection lark.

A BB cap is actually handy if you live in the far far North??! - in winter - when the sun is really low in the sky you can be totally blinded on coming around a corner especially if the road is wet and get and extra reflection on it - you can't wear shades (too dark) - the visor is too high (for short *****) - wearing a BB cap - you just have to tilt your head forward a fraction and you can see where you are going again!

And I'm not 'MP' - I would prefer the scoob to have no scoop but the front mount intercooler is too expensive.

DavidBrown - want to recommend an alternative that keeps the Sun out of your eyes, sweat, etc... like Moray was saying?

Anyway these days BBcaps = old farts & MPs (political types) and ...
Beanie's = MP types (and some cool windsurfers and snowboarders{the ones that
do it - not just wear the clothes} )

As for your boot tidy RayT - just think of the extra weight your carring!!

swa: If you wear one because you're too short, and the visor is too high and need to keep the sun & sweat out of your eyes, have you considered a booster cushion and aircon ? hehe

Oooh! Steady now ya bas
I thought I might get a bit of sillyness from that one!
Fortunately they have researched the ergonomics of the Scoob so even I can sit comfortably with out a wee cushion ... or is it just 'cos its designed for wee Jap folk?

I didn't mean the sweating bit when driving .. except from a cold sweat from sh$ting it when scaring myself with the right pedal

As for the air con - too much extra weight pal! Which brings me to my next post ....
