How difficult is it to change the grill and bumper from a MY97 UK to MY99 spec??

What would I need? And where can I get the bits from??

Just a thought!!

Cool

I believe the bumper is a simple swap, and, assuming the lights and bonnet haven't changed shape, the grill should just slot in as well.

As the MY97 model was the changeover year for the front end, it shouldn't be necessary to change the bonnet.

The bits that do need changing are the front bumper, including indicators.

The bits you should also change to get the full effect (even the old ones still look 99% of the way there) are the headlamps and foglamps (to the later MY99-on clear lense types) and the grille (the MY99-on grille had a lips that protuded slightly more than the MY97/98 cars).

The bonnets look the same, and the shape of the headlights seem the same!

I thought that I'd need the front bumper, and of course the indicators as well. The grille on the MY99 does protrude more at the bottom, so that would need to be changed, but I thought that would be it!!

Don't need the foglights as I have ScoobySport driving lamps, and I was toying with the idea of a twin lamp conversion, I don't need headlights!

That said, I'd only need the indicator module, as I was going to go for clear front indicator lenses!

Now what about the dash??? I think it'd be cheaper to buy a new car!!!

Thanks for your help guys!
